Sister to the Pontiac G6 and the Chevrolet Malibu, the 2007 Saturn Aura has been released as a mid-size sedan and replaces the Saturn L series that was phased out in 2005.
The 2007 Saturn Aura company has been making waves with their ‘firsts’ and ‘exclusive’ series launches for the Saturn, and keeping with the tradition, the 2007 Saturn Aura becomes the ‘first’ to have a updated fully automatic transmission developed indigenously by Ford, and will also be the first hybrid car made by them.
The car also comes in two trim levels – the XR and the XE. A hybrid is scheduled to be launched later that will be called the Aura Green Line. The car features LED taillights, two-tone interiors, and body-colored door handles.
The premium XR model also has fog lights, chrome door handles, twin tailpipes, and 18”, 14 spoke alloy wheels instead of the normal 17” wheels in the standard XE.
